Every year, color experts around the world make predictions for the upcoming year's color trends in building design.
It's not only a fun look at what we might be covering our walls with in the coming year, but also a bit of a cultural commentary. Each year's trend attempts to answer some highly relevant questions: What is the overall mood of our society? How have our emotions carried us through the last year and how will they continue to do so in the year ahead?
The most notable of these forecasts often come from the world's biggest paint manufacturers. With 2022 just around the corner, here's an overview of next year's 2022 Color of the Year from each of the major paint manufacturers.
