70 Years In the Making
Founded initially as “Modern Products” in 1948 by G.W. Haworth, the company saw modest beginnings as a woodworking shop on the shores of Lake Michigan. From the company’s first product line expansion, to adopting the family name in 1976, to tapping into the global market in 1988, Haworth’s recognition and reputation have expanded across the globe at a pace as fast as its product offerings.
Perhaps what’s most compelling about Haworth’s identity in the industry is their focus not simply on product innovation, sustainability, or design, but on all three at the same time.
