FULL TIME or PART TIME – ELGIN, IL or REMOTE

 

Position Overview:

As a Revit Draftsman at BIMsmith, you will be an integral part of our drafting team, working on creating BIM (Building Information Modeling) content for manufacturers. You'll be the bridge between design and product data, ensuring that our clients have access to accurate and high-quality BIM content to streamline their design processes.

 

Key Responsibilities:

•    Collaborate with the drafting team to develop BIM content for manufacturers' products.
•    Create Revit families, templates, and other BIM content according to industry standards and guidelines.
•    Review and verify product information, specifications, and dimensions to ensure accuracy.
•    Perform quality control checks to maintain the highest standards of BIM content.
•    Keep up-to-date with industry trends and software advancements to continually improve BIM content creation processes.
•    Work closely with manufacturers and internal teams to gather necessary product information and data.
•    Provide support and guidance to manufacturers on BIM content creation and maintenance.
•    Assist in troubleshooting and resolving any BIM-related issues as they arise.

 

Qualifications:

•    Proficiency in Autodesk Revit (other BIM software is a plus)
•    Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
•    Familiarity with industry standards and guidelines for BIM content creation.
•    Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and manufacturers.

Specification Writer, BIMsmith
FULL TIME – ELGIN, IL or REMOTE

 

Position Overview:

As a Specification Writer at BIMsmith, you will be responsible for managing ongoing specification writing projects, including writing and editing manufacturers' product specifications. You will work closely with a variety of manufacturers to ensure their proprietary specifications are accurately represented on our platform. Your role is crucial in providing architects and other construction professionals with the most reliable and comprehensive information they need to make informed decisions during the specification process.

 

Key Responsibilities:

•    Write and edit manufacturers' product specifications according to CSI and MasterFormat standards.
•    Collaborate with manufacturers to gather proprietary specifications and ensure they are accurately represented on our platform.
•    Maintain and update product specifications to reflect changes, improvements, or new releases.
•    Review and verify MasterSpec documents to ensure compliance and accuracy.
•    Stay updated on industry standards, product innovations, and regulatory requirements to ensure that specifications are up-to-date.
•    Coordinate with the internal team to ensure the seamless integration of specifications into the platform.
•    Assist in resolving specification-related inquiries and issues from platform users.

 

Qualifications:

•    Proven experience in specification writing, particularly in the AEC industry.
•    Familiarity with manufacturers' proprietary specifications and MasterSpec.
•    CSI (Construction Specifications Institute) certification is highly desirable.
•    Strong attention to detail with excellent writing and editing skills.
•    Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with manufacturers and internal teams.
•    Proficiency in document management software and familiarity with specification management tools.

Project Manager, BIMsmith

Position Overview:

As a Project Manager at BIMsmith, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end process of creating BIM content, using Autodesk Revit, SketchUp, and other BIM software. You will lead a team of talented individuals and collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality parametric content.

•    Lead and manage the development of BIM content for manufacturers, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
•    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with project goals and deadlines.

Anguleris is seeking a driven, high-energy marketing professional to make a lasting impact at BIMsmith, the leading product research platform for building professionals. The role will share responsibility for exciting audience growth targets and will cover key areas such as growth marketing, blogging and content creation, lead generation, social media, advertising, event marketing, and more.

•    Email Marketing – including managing user newsletters, working in HTML templates, and creating email engagement/drip strategies
Campaign Management
•    Oversee client marketing/advertising campaigns

Event Marketing
•    Planning – Support planning and organization of company exhibits at trade shows and conferences

2-4 years of experience in a Marketing, Communications, or related role
